After several years, I have just sold my business in Torbay. Trade in Torbay and surrounding area MUST have improved communication to not only succeed but in order to survive! Without it the area will die as it continues to receive bad publicity around its inaccessibility. The scheme is ESSENTIAL for the overall prosperity of the area. It is very sad that some people will be effected in a very negative way with the new road. This should be assisted with generous compensation. If the protest succeeds, the long term damage to the bay will be irreversible. WITHOUT the prosperity of local business's you will not have an area left worth visiting. Please endorse the new road scheme with a wider view point.
