Virtually the first comment of the newly appointed Managing Director of Torbay Council Mr Richard Painter was that economic regeneration or expansion in Torbay will be dependent upon a better traffic system than presently exists.

His number one priority was to be tackling the delays caused by the congestion presently experienced on the A380.
