The Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Development Agency has recently confirmed to the South Devon Chamber of Commerce that although the RDA continues to support the proposal for a Kingskerswell Bypass, it emphasises comments drawn out of an Economic Impact Study only recently undertaken which concluded that the following actions are seen as vital:

• An integrated package of transport proposals for the Kingskerswell Corridor;
• Regeneration initiatives in the inner urban areas;
• Integrated transport and development proposals along the Torbay Ring Road.
