Since the launch of the original web site in 2003, a visitor poll was carried out where visitors could vote for or against the proposed bypass.

The results of the poll were an astonishing 7,640 votes supporting the bypass and 2,489 votes opposing.

It’s clear that the overall consensus of votes were supporting the campaign with over 75% of voters supporting the bypass.
